Don't Take Me Seriously - Book - Page 294
And is it even pop-related when you have deep-seated word associations that
you originally created deliberately? For example, when you call your wallet your
“Flying Walletta” (relating to the Flying Wallendas circus act) ... because it
amused you once ... and now you can’t stop.
In any case, I believe no shame or guilt should be attached to awkward mental
associations. I mean, just because most of yours are related to personal hygiene
or bodily off gassing, or just because the smell of mothballs brings images of
granny panties to your mind, or the words “donkey love” make you think of Quick
Draw and Baba Looey on a cruise ... it doesn’t mean there is a Freudian
connection. These things can be easily explained to your court-mandated
therapist. And, if not, maybe they are just crossed connections, fragmentations ...
or really are random.
Just sayin’... Mo, Snoop, Sly ....
Let’s all forgive. Mind Pops are fun.
